ALDI shoppers are in disbelief over a drink that couldn't seem to contain itself.
One Aldi customer took to social media to express their outrage over an exploding can.

Popular grocery chain Aldi has come under fire recently for one of its products.
One Aldi shopper took to X, the website formerly known as Twitter, to reveal their strange findings.
In a post, the customer mentioned Aldi, questioning: "Who do I talk to about exploding sparkling water cans?"
They went on to explain the situation, writing: "I took a can out of the box this morning and put it in a bag, it exploded a few seconds later and water was all over my kitchen floor. Thank God it didn't explode in my hand."

The user also attached a picture of the drink they claimed to have exploded, revealing a can of the store's sparkling water brand, Belle Vie with a chunk of its can missing.
Aldi responded back to the user in a post: "So sorry to see that you had this trouble! Please reach out to our customer service team and they'll be able to look into this more and assist you further. Thank you!"
The store also attached a link to its contact page.
WHAT HAPPENED?
According to FoodForIt.com, carbonated drinks can explode for a variety of reasons when shaken, opened, or under pressure.

This includes carbon dioxide buildup in the can, temperature changes that increase pressure, shaking or agitation, or a damaged container.
This is not the first time customers claim Aldi's cans are exploding.
In a Reddit post, one user posted a picture of two empty cans of Belle Vie sparkling water and wrote: I bought this 12 pack today and there were two empties in it! Looks like they either exploded or were damaged in the packaging or transport process. So frustrating."
Comments on the post from other users encourage the original poster to get a refund and a free replacement for the inconvenience.
According to the Aldi website, it will replace a product and refund money to customers not 100% satisfied with the quality of the product.
"To receive the Twice as Nice Guarantee, the product packaging and any unused product must be returned to your local ALDI store manager," the website says.
A receipt is required to receive a refund.
Customers who do not have a receipt will receive an ALDI Merchandise Credit gift card equal to the current retail price of the returned item.
The U.S. Sun reached out to Aldi in a request for comment.
